Liber AL vel Legis, The Book of the Law, was dictated to Aleister Crowley by a preternatural intelligence in March 1904, marking the beginning of a new aeon of human evolution and attainment. Although short -- a total of three chapters containing 220 verses -- the book contains a wide array of valuable teachings: cosmology, ethics, ritual and meditation exercises, and the means of ascending the heights of spiritual illumination, to name just a few.

We will read and discuss The Book of the Law, and study such supplemental documents as The Law is For All, The Equinox of the Gods, De Lege Libellum, The Law of Liberty, Liber Aleph, Liber OZ, and more.

This course will be accessible to new seekers on the Path of Return as well as to seasoned aspirants, and will be of interest not only to Thelemites but also to all those interested in the Western Mysteries. Please join us!

Qabalah, astrology, tarot. Alchemy, magick, initiation. Science, art, literature.

What is the Great Work and how does the study of these topics come into play in the quest to uncover our own Mystery? These are questions we will pursue in this weekly class. You will be introduced to various aspects of Western Magick and Mysticism, each class providing a stepping stone toward further exploration. Its theoretical scope will assist in making sense of many of occultism's most hidden processes, while its practical aspect will not only change how you think of yourself and the universe, but also the manner in which you hold those thoughts.

This class is presented by College of Thelema and taught by Zeph Bender, a Grand Chief of Temple of Thelema and a student and practitioner of occultism for over 30 years.

We do not charge a fee for the class, however a $10 Donation is suggested. Please RSVP for location information.
