LAST MINUTE - Outdoor Movies at the Mission: Shrek!

I *just* found out that the City of Ventura is hosting a FREE outdoor movie screening of Shrek at Mission San Buenaventura Wednesday, July 16th at 6pm!

According to the website, the event is being hosted in the street IN FRONT of the mission (not inside the mission itself nor at the park) so I would HIGHLY recommend bringing a lawn chair or at least a blanket to sit on. You could bring snacks too, and it might be chilly so a sweater could be nice as well.

This is a super impromptu event so no pressure, but bring whoever/whatever you want!

Whoever gets there first try to nab us a spot! I'll keep an eye on the comments here to coordinate with everyone.

There's paid street parking but also lots of free parking lots (e.g. behind the Century theater along Poli). You could try the upper levels of the parking structure at the corner of Santa Clara/Chestnut, or there's almost always guaranteed parking up at City Hall along Poli if you don't mind the walk.
