Green Park to Clayton Trail Walk (skirting Horth Hill Regional Park)

I'm still getting my routing figured out, folks, but here's what I know so far.

We'll be meeting at or near Green Park in North Saanich. We'll do a short walk around Green Park (about 1/2 km), then head out toward Horth Hill Regional Park. We won't actually go into the Park because some of the trails in there can be fairly strenuous.

We'll skirt around the perimeter of the park and hit the Clayton Trail. This is a long leafy trail that cuts across the entire North Saanich peninsula. We won't do the whole trail, of course. Just out to Clayton Road and back; about 2.6 km.

Then we'll take the easiest way back to Green Park and call it a day. In total, the walk will be about 4.5 to 4.9 km, depending on the exact routing I decide upon.

There's plenty of street parking around Green Park. And if you're coming from Victoria, it's dead simple to get there. Up the Pat Bay Hwy until you're almost to the ferries, then take Exit 33. Turn left at the lights, and follow Lands End Road along to Greenpark Road. Turn left into Green Park Estates. I'll tell you exactly where you can park later.
