Meetup details: Explore A Career In Video Game Development (With guest speaker from industry)

From: Joe
Sent on: Sunday, April 25, 2010 3:08 PM
When: Friday, April 30,[masked]:00 PM
Where: University of Houston University Center (UC) Pacific Room (Rm 90)
4800 Calhoun Road
Houston, TX 77004

This event will be held in the University Center at UH in the Pacific Room (Rm 90). The event will be a forum at which there will be a guest speaker who will present to us the entire video game development process, the oppurtunity to ask questions and comment, and a chance to present a personal portfolio or maybe get a little personal guidance from the guest. Also, you can interact with some gaming enthusiasts. It will be informal.

Our guest, Johannes Huber, has about 15 years of experience, can teach, and has done movie related work as well. I think he is a very good source of info and guidance to any person considering getting into this industry.
If you think of any questions, it would be helpful to send them beforehand. It could help him in putting together the presentation or have an answer well prepared if it has to do with something he has to find out about, etc. RSVP or send questions to Joe, the VGN meetup organizer, at [address removed] or through

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup:
