Please understand that this decision process was extremely difficult and there were hundreds of very qualified applicants. It's folks like yourself that make SFVR an awesome community, and I hope to see you our next event.
The exact location and the details of the event will be give prior to the confirmation email.
On June 17-19, come join us for a Holographic Hackathon. Microsoft HoloLens is the world's first untethered holographic computer, mixing holograms into your real world. Over the course of 48 hours, you'll form teams with other developers, designers, and artists to collaboratively create a holographic app. Engineers from the HoloLens team will be on-site along with HoloLens devices. You know you want to add holographic developer to your skillset :)
Autodesk has invited us to attend Forge DevCon2016 at Fort Mason. They are opening their doors for all comers at 4pm on Thursday June 16… folks can wonder the exhibition area, get AR/VR experiences (we have a PhaseSpace multiuser Gear VR space setup as well as HTC Vive with high end visuals including photoreal race car you can section live and more), see “real machines in action” and more.
Microsoft will be present to do a talk on HoloLens. Please join us to get an early start to learning the device. This is also good opportunity to meet your fellow participants to form teams and share ideas for the upcoming hackathon.
