Do you have any experience in recording and editing digital audio? None is just fine too.

Do you currently have or plan to own a personal home studio for recording your voice work?

I took a voice-acting workshop some 10 years ago, but then went into grad school in a small metro area that didn't have opportunities. Still quite interested, including in Spanish.

What Happythot (. is saying about this Meetup Group

You get information and advice for setting up a home studio, details on what's involved in promoting your work, and -- the fun part for me -- chances to read and get honest feedback and assistance. Cliff does have a separate workshop periodically; you will see the workshop being promoted a little, but rest assured the Meetup group itself is useful and interesting. It isn't one of those setups where you're just there to be sold on a paid seminar. There are always people in the group who've done the workshop as well, and they rave enough that you may find you're interested in doing that, too, but if you just want to get your feet wet, you'll feel quite at home and supported in exploring. (Be prepared for meetings to run long, though! In the process of doing all the productive stuff, everyone involved gets chatty ... and I say that as one who's no exception. :)
