Ligo Project - Art of Science Gallery Night

An artist and a scientist are hanging out... What could happen? Find out and you may discover some truly amazing science-inspired art and a unique way to hear about scientific research happening in your own neighborhood! Art collector, science buff, or a techie, investor, or entrepreneur looking for your next great gig....this is a fresh new way to get innovative ideas and/or new connections into the science, health, & medical scene and put your skills to use in driving innovations into the public domain.

Join us Wednesday, January 22nd from 7-10pm at Culturefix for Art of Science - Gallery Night! $5 Suggested donation at door.

Featuring art by: Gustavo Asto, c.hilll, Grace Markman, Jasmine Murrell, Nora Petroliunas, and Marie Roberts

Featuring scientific research by: Dr. Teresa Bandosz, Dr. Steve Franks, Dr. Scott Lowe, Dr. Charles Sherr

The Ligo Project Art of Science program aims to make science more accessible to everyone, using the universal language of art as a vehicle to do just that--combining these two disciplines to explore fundamental questions that interest and affect us all. We not only make science more understandable, but also provide a different perspective on science and the scientific process in the hopes to engage the tech community, investors/entrepreneurs, and citizen scientist alike.
