Walk on Forest Trails (maintained by the State Department of Natural Resources), through the woods of Capitol State Forest along the Mima Falls trail. A nice summer hike with a few minimal elevation gains (under 300 ft). Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. (Rating 1A)

Miscellaneous: Pit toilets at the trailhead. Carry water. Pets are permitted. Owners are responsible for leash and clean up laws. After the walk, visit nearby mysterious Mima Mounds that have been written up in many geological and unexplained publications. Gophers or ancient artifacts? Earthquakes or aliens? You decide!
Directions: I-5 exit #95. Northbound LEFT/southbound RIGHT toward Littlerock (3-1/10 miles). Continue straight for 7/10 mile to Waddell Creek Rd. Turn left 1-2/10 miles to Bordeux Rd. Turn RIGHT to Marksman Rd., SW. RIGHT to start point.
