What gary is saying about this Meetup Group

I hear your frustrations about the Botanical Garden. But San Francisco has much to learn from the city of Pleasanton when it comes to stealing/privatizing public spaces. Augustin Bernal was donated for public use when the city lock it behind the gates of Million Dollar Estates and restrict access -- to Pleasanton residents Only. Essentially city dollar is used to groom the backyard of millionaires. Why is this park important? It has the only tree-covered hiking trails along a 30+ mile I-680 corridor. East Bay residents are the real losers, most aren't even aware this park existed.
