Rafting on the American River

We can't let summer slip away without a day on the river.

What to bring:
Water shoes, suntan lotion, sunglasses, hats, ice chest and your lunch/drinks, water proof case for phone and keys, soakers, water blasters.

We will meet in the parking lot at 9:30am and be on our way by 10:30am. If you arrive past that time, we will probably already be floating down the river and you'll need to paddle fast. :)

These are not class 3 & 4, they are gentle 1 and 2's. It really will be a lazy day floating down the river. Non-guided, no helmets, life vests are required.

It's up to you on what you rent and also up to you to make the reservation by calling 916-635-6400. They have rafts that will accommodate 4/6/10/12 people. You can also choose to rent a paddle board, a kayak or tubes - they are all fun! It's up to YOU to decide who you want in your raft, make the reservation and to collect the amount due from the people in your raft. This date will be a busy weekend, so be sure to reserve your tube, raft, kayak now.

There is onsite parking. We can park cars at the end to shuttle back to the parking lot or for $10 you can get a shuttle ticket - must be purchased before you take off on your raft.

This will be a drive to event, no ride planned with this one.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are even thinking about signing up, please do since this event might possibly move over in 2 weeks to another type of invite event. Make sure that Mike, Chris or Pam have your email address or phone number in case this event is moved to another forum.
