Our group gets together and plays different Indie RPGs and Story Games. The groups also play-tests each other's RPGs and Story Games, which are in development. The type of games we could play, are any and all types of Indie RPGs and Story Games, but here are some examples: Apocalypse World, Fiasco, Dungeon World, Burning Wheel, Lady Blackbird, Fate Accelerated Edition, Kagematsu, Dogs in the Vineyard, Don't Rest Your Head, Fate Core, Microscope, Kingdom, Primetime Adventures, Urban Shadows, Blades in the Dark, Mouse Guard, Monsterhearts, Archipelago, Swords Without Master, Polaris (the "indie" one), and many, many more.
This week Brandon has offered to GM. The game we will be playing is called The Pool. Here is some info about what to expect:
Welcome to an all-expenses-paid trip to The Pit in the lovely Ashlands. You must have done something very wrong or very right to be chosen for this illustrious excursion! Trust no one as you work (or oversee the work) to smelt ironshards, experience the otherworldly Ashlands, see the mysterious rockmen, breath in the no-so-healthful fumes of The Pit, outmaneuver the Superiors of Northlund, shun the Southlunders of the second life, all the while avoiding the wraiths of Eastlund and other dangers. We will be using The Pool as our rules set. It is an ultralite rules set which is heavy on story with a zany "gambling" mechanic. Expect intrigue, perhaps create some intrigue of your own!
