    Next Steps: Upon completion of the Non-Motorized Georgetown Waterfront Feasibility Study (by the Louis Berger Consulting Group), NPS officials discussed the next steps in this process, which included additional studies, such as considerations from the public for alternative ideas, a new Environmental Impact Study, and review of each of 3 proposed development scenarios which must meet compliance under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). This next phase will likely last into the next several years! But NPS officials noted your input and ideas are needed NOW, since there's only 2 days left. It's VERY IMPORTANT at this time, so please leave a comment f!! Presently that means recreational kayakers favoring the Low Density or the Medium density plans, since each proposes a Car-top Boat Launch area at Zone C.
