This class uses tools such as neuro-balls, axis-boards, pilates rings, wobble boards, balance balls, chairs, and more to improve each students' individual bodily awareness, connection to the earth, foot and ankle health, core strength, postural alignment, diaphragmatic breathing, and ability to maintain their balance.
Healthy feet, core and postural muscles, and greater awareness and connection to gravity help us to live a more independent life, longer, by reducing our need for support from others.
This class will help you release patterns of tension keeping you from ease in your body, and give you a better, more mindful and stronger relationship with gravity. We will focus on your feet, your core, and postural muscles, but classes will include strengthening the entire body.
This class is excellent for those recovering from injuries and chronic compensation patterns, and those who simply want to improve their quality of life and life-span.
PLEASE NOTE - class size is limited to SIX STUDENTS to start, as we are utilizing some new equipment. As popularity grows for the class, we will expand the class size!
