Sunnydale

Starting from the Canalside at Crossflatts we will walk along the canal path for quarter of a mile, before taking a path through fields to East Morton. From East Morton we will walk through countryside and field tracks to reach the road to Ilkley moor/Menston. After a short distance, we will descend through country paths to Sunnydale reservoir and then further field paths and tracks back to East Morton, from where we will retrace out steps for the last mile back to the start of our walk.

All walks are circular, unless stated.
Meeting:
We usually gather around 10.15 to start the walk promptly at 10.30.
NB:
Walking boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch and drinks are required.
We do not allow dogs on our walks as we often go through farmer's fields with livestock.

In addition to the Meetup members shown, we have members of BSW and CHA attending walks , making a group of between 6 to 16 walkers.
Fees:
New membership fees for 2025 are £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups.
For non-members, we ask for a £1 donation on each walk towards our admin and insurance costs.
