Hi Everyone! We're looking forward to our first Meetup of the year on Candidate Experience.

We’ll discuss the factors that have a huge impact on a positive candidate experience and share best practices for applying these learnings.

Our Moderator, Kevin Grossman, is a certified Talent Acquisition Strategist (TAS) & Human Capital Strategist (HCS) by HCI with over 18 years of domain expertise. He is currently the Talent Board President responsible for all aspects of the Candidate Experience Awards program and other Talent Board activities worldwide.

Our first panelist, Matt Walker, comes straight from the streets of SoMa and is on a constant mission to find the world's best candidates. He's personally worked with over 100 startups in Silicon Valley and his extensive background in agency recruiter taught him that by putting forth every effort to understand people and technology, you can come to a caring, and more accurate way for connecting and matching companies and candidates to find the best fit.

Our second panelist, Curtis Smith, has founded a number of startups in the HR & Recruiting space. He has worked with companies of all shapes and sizes to implement both hiring processes and ATS's. He currently serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Scality, a well-funded & reputable startup here in San Francisco.

Our final panelist, Roy Baladi, is a Product Manager here at SmartRecruiters. As our in-house Candidate Experience expert, he conceptualized and launched our first-in-class candidate portal. This product shed light into the application process and is used by 5 million job applicants to manage their communication with hiring teams and see the progress on their applications.
