*This is for web developers - content is highly technical & programming related*

Update 4/11 , opened 25 more slots. AOL is the sponsor of this months meetup on April 22nd at 8pm. We'll get between 50-75 developers together and go over some quick presentations about new cool stuff , eat some pizza and chat. The presentation format is 5-10 minutes on something that web application developers should know, followed by 5 minutes Q&A. There are four open slots right now, so please send me your proposals for a presentation!

1) Mitchell Hashimoto - Coming from Seattle to tell us what's up
2) Jason Lidow - Web security is serious business
3) Ron Evans - Using sinatra for making FB apps
4) Submit Proposal. Parking details will be coming shortly, but be sure to lock this time down in your calendar.

The meetup is well structured and the presentations were very current and relevant. Will definitely go to the next one.

I didn't think the presentations were technical enough. wasn't interested in the web app firewall sales pitch. Amazon services overview were too high level.

the crowd was all technical people (with a few business people trying to hire). I like a techie crowd but the event wasn't techie enough.

I also like the less techie events that are more like mixers because they bring in the business, pr, marketing, and (important for me) VC's.

I thought this was an excellent meetup. Even with the short timeframes, the presenters all offered fairly technical topics that engaged the whole room and made for great conversations (and, hence, networking opps) afterwards. I'll definitely come back for the next one.

One of the best groups of presentations so far, diverse and informative.

It was great, but it felt a little short. A couple more talks would've been awesome :)
    Kudos to all the speakers!!!

I went mainly to network. I'm not a programmer, but I need to sub out work to programmer contractors from time to time. The presentations were quick and down to earth. While the subject matter was over my head, as I expected it to be, I didn't feel left out - if that makes sense. It was interesting to see what's out there for the developers - and what kinds of apps my clients might want running on their web sites.

This was one of our best meetups yet. The topics covered were technical and interesting which spawned great technical conversations afterword. Thanks again to AOL for supporting our group and giving us plenty of food!

It felt more like a Ruby developer or programmer meetup, rather than Web Developer meetup. It would be nice to pick one topic and extend for an entire hour.
