Ogden Canyon Overlook From Shoreline Trail

We'll begin the hike at 6:30 from the Ogden Canyon tail head parking lot (North side of 12th St at the mouth of Ogden Canyon). We'll head north on the Shoreline Trail, then jump onto the overlook spur and return. Difficulty: Easy to moderate. Distance: 4 miles. Elevation gain: 650 ft. Trail conditions may require ice cleats. If overall trail conditions are not good then we may switch to the Ogden River trail. But, hopefully the snow will be there so as to test our winter skills for the first time this season.
