Mid Winter Christmas in July pub run

Come and join us for some mid winter festive fun with the annual Christmas in July Pub Run!

Run the whole way, run part of it or just come and have a drink or two.
Fancy dress is encouraged, there may be a prize or two!

Rough details of the route are as follows, may change nearer the time:

• 12pm start at Lyall Bay beach (or Parrotdog if the weather is bad)
• Leave Lyall Bay @12:30, run to Double Vision Island Bay via Sinclair Park and the Southern Walkway, arrive @13:15
• Leave from Double vision @14:15, run to Sprig & Fern via Tawatawa, arrive @15:15
• Leave from Spring & Fern @16:15 to Waitoa, Hataitai via Mt Vic, arrive @17:00
• Leave from Waitoa @18:00 via Mt Vic to Heyday

The total distance will be around 17kms (ish)

There will be an activity in somewhere in there, it will involve teams and fireball.

As always, there will also be a pre-run to the start from Mt Vic for those those who want to do a few extra km's. Meet at the top of Majoribanks at 11am.

Important Reminders:

• The trails will be wet and muddy, so trail shoes with plenty of grip are recommended.
• Bring a rain jacket and some warm layers.
• Pack a headtorch as we will probably run the last leg in the dark.
• Stay hydrated throughout the day and drink responsibly!
