The 1st Soul All-Dayer of the year.
No live band but you will hear pure soul dance tunes as played by Dj's Sonny & Spare; Sammy Dee and Soulstax 45.
Doors open at 3pm into a covered outside seating area which leads to the dance floor. A fully stocked bar including cocktails is on the left, cloakrooms to the right.
I've set an end time of 8pm, which is when I shall leave although the Night Owl will remain open till late.
Ladies: Your bag will be searched
Gents: You can expect the usual pat-down
A car park is on Heath Mill Road. Public transport passes close by. Rail stations are within walking distance.
