Slacker Ride - Saratoga Gap Trail etc.

Free midweek? Come play with me! I'm free for a month of Wednesdays so I hope you can help me enjoy my summer. I'm flexible so LMK if a bit earlier or later time is better for you.

Haven't ridden this area in a long time but we'll figure it out. I'll study up by ride time. Not a fan of the typical Skeggs ride where there's a descent on the beginning of a ride when I'm not warmed up yet. So want to squirrel around hither and yon before any descending. Hope to make David's ride up here on the 17th! So that week's Slacker Ride will be on another day.

PACE: For intermediate level ONLY please. What I call Intermediate Girl. Probably 8 mpg avg speed on this ride. (Average speed includes CLIMBING.) This is my average speed for this kind of ride, similar to Steven's Canyon. SHORT regroups. Note: If you don't know your average speed, I've been the slowest rider on most of the rides I've hosted on this site so the pace is pretty mellow! But this is NOT for beginners. Speed racers are welcome to come and heckle.

TECHNICAL LEVEL: Don't worry about it. Not much around here is technical.

DISTANCE - Around 10 miles. GAIN - dunno. Not a lot I think.

NO HELMET = NO RIDE. Please be prepared: bring tool kit, pump, tube, and tons of water and food. Drink before you're thirsty; eat before you're hungry.

POST-RIDE REWARD: quick burrito after? What's good to eat in Saratoga?
