Betty Creek Gap Trailhead - Standing Indian and back (Sun-Mon), July 13-14.

The last minute trip - I thought there might be some spontaneous takers for this one. Meet at Betty Creek Gap Parking 35.03060, -83.47991 at 11 AM, walk on the AT southbound to Standing Indian Mountain, stay overnight, next day go back. It’s 9.7 miles one way, approximately 2230 ft elevation gain according to gayagps . Standing Indian is almost 5500 ft tall - it should be cool and breezy on top of it. Beautiful views too.
