Ward Lake Nordic Ski, Grand Mesa NF

Wanna ski one of the outer loops, 5-6 miles round trip, through the trees on the Grand Mesa?

We'll mostly ski a marked, ungroomed route with some marked and snowmobile groomed sections.

Let's meet at 10:00 at the Ward Lake nordic parking area, the large plowed pull-out south of the Grand Mesa Visitors Center on 65.

Easy to moderate skiing so bring what you'll need for that, whether light backcountry touring equipment or classic nordic.

Friday looks to be mostly sunny with a high in the mid 30s (but you never know, so come prepared!)
