  • Vinyasa Yoga!

So I'm a bit of a fan of Yoga, having done a course in a local yoga centre, but I'm struggling as they don't do many classes first thing. They tend to be only during the day - and unlike everyone who goes to those classes, I have to work for a living!

Hence I wanted to set one up that actually fits within my timetable.

I've an awesome Yoga teacher whose going to be teaching us, and depending on how many classes we have each week, I may also bring in another Yoga instructor, depending on how popular this all gets.

    So come join in!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A little housekeeping:

    • Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start promptly at 7am!

    • Bring your own mat, towel, water etc.

    • These classes are for all levels. l'm a beginner FYI!

    ABOUT THE CLASS:

Vinyasa is a general term that is used to describe many different types of classes. Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronised movement, tends to be a more vigorous style based on the performance of a series of poses called Sun Salutations, in which movement is matched to the breath. The class will typically start with a number of Sun Salutations to warm up the body for more intense stretching that's done at the end of class. Unlike Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, the “asanas” (yoga postures) can be arranged into different sequences to meet the practitioner's and our needs or mood.
