Dairy UK issue raw milk code + Case dropped against Selfridges

I will be looking out for this to see whether additional requirements will put smaller farmers out of business. Given the clean safety record, I believe harsh new requirements are only justified for larger producers or in exchange for the right to third party retail.

In further news, the FSA case against Selfridges has been dropped by FSA. Essentially, there was no case to answer. They are still pursuing Hook and Son, who have all their legal fees being paid for by the National Farmers Union and we ask the question, how can there be a case against Hook and Son for third party retail of raw milk, when there is no third party named in the legal case?

Update - this is from "thegrocer", a sort of trade mag. It also contains links to Hook & Sons newsletter.

Any ideas on how we should respond to this? I have lots of raw milk fliers and was thinking about leafleting FSA offices and Dairy UK offices to mark the launch. Certainly, keen to leaflet on the day of the board meeting.
