What is Right? Meet at a Bar

All meetups of the "What is Right?" group are intended, as the name implies, to be exploratory sessions in which participants might freely exchange views, contest and debate positions and, it is hoped, might demonstrate for one another what a principled conservative position ought to be. Among the various traits that a conservative thinker should have is a desire to preserve what our civilization got right, and to make innovations only with an abundance of caution and humility.

Optional discussion topic: Should voting be mandatory? Why or why not? (As the discussion evolves naturally, various topics will be covered. This question is only food for thought.)
