Details

Mount Lindsey is a beautiful climb in the Sangre de Cristos, but is a strenuous and potentially hazardous alpine ascent. It is recommended only for experienced and well-prepared hikers who are comfortable with high-exposure terrain and objective mountain risks. The standard route involves significant elevation gain, a long approach, and sustained Class 3 scrambling near the summit—this is not an entry-level 14er. Please refer to the 14ers.com route description for detailed information: https://www.14ers.com/route.php?route=lind2

Height: 14, 054ft
Distance: 8.25 miles
Gain: 3,500 ft

Conditions in May can vary significantly depending on snowpack and weather, particularly on the upper ridge sections.

Each participant will be required to complete a waiver prior to joining the climb.

If you’re interested in joining the Mount Lindsey outing, please add yourself to the waitlist so I can gauge interest and share updates. This event will also be posted across multiple meet-up groups.
