This book club is dedicated to reading biographies, accounts of the production of specific films, histories of specific periods, and other non-fiction relating to film history.
Atlanta is home to a large filmmaking community and I hope to find a group of others interested in casually expanding their knowledge of film history!

Welcome to the first meeting of this film history book club! This week we'll discuss the book Ida Lupino: A Biography by William Donati!
I chose this book because I've been interested in learning about her, but I don't necessarily expect anyone interested in the club to read this before coming to this first meeting. At this first meeting I'd like to discuss how to facilitate a successful club, pick a book everyone can agree on for a future meeting, and discuss general interest in film history. Please bring book ideas!
Also, please let me know if there are suggestions on where to hold the meeting. Foxtail Coffee seemed to be somewhat central, but I'm open to other spots.
