I will demonstrate several stages of a no-knead sourdough bread recipe, the "Basic Country Bread" from the book Tartine Bread. We'll start with the baking and work backward through the steps along what is typically an 18- to 36-hour process, so there will be something to eat at the end.

Bring the kids so they can all share a play date, and we can relax and talk about food. Any swapping, pre-arranged or not is fine, and if you have anything to accompany bread and afternoon kombucha, please bring it along (like, kombucha).

Afterward, take home some sourdough starter and try it yourself!
