You can't hack it if you don't understand it!
Secura is hosting us for a session on WiFi hacking.
To hack an access point, we need to understand the different authentication mechanisms, spot the weaknesses, know which equipment to use and hack your neighb... We mean, your laboratory router!
We will learn about different attacks on the 2.4GHz WiFi network, from denial of service to cracking WiFi passwords.
If the interest of the group allows, we may have a hands-on challenge... A CTF to test out your newly ackquired skills! First to the flag wins a prize :D
What do you need?
A laptop, preferably with Kali Linux, or any other Linux distro. MDK3 and aircrack-ng are a MUST, the rest we can install on the spot if needed :) Anybody who owns a TP-Link or Alpha or Pineapple or similar WiFi adapter with packet injection capabilities, please bring it; we will have several available, but the more, the merrier!
Food and drinks are included.
