It's time for our acclaimed Holiday Walk where we’ll seek out the best decorated hotels, churches, lobbies and storefronts along our convenient downtown route. Please join us on Saturday December 21st at 1pm at the historic Water Tower on North Michigan Avenue. From there we'll depart to discover amazing finds along our holiday trail.
This one is sure to be a delight as your Merry Guide tells tall tales of deep Chicago holiday traditions in our fine city including Christmas Trees, Reindeer, and every year’s most anxiously awaited publication ( NOT the List). You’ll learn what holiday traditions began, ended and continue to this day in Chicago.
Please note that this will be a one-way excursion, approximately 2 miles in length, ending at the Christkindlemarket at Daley Center. Depending on how crowded the market is, some of us may continue onward to grab a seasonal beverage nearby and to debate various Chicago holiday trivia matters.
Don’t worry about the large number of attendees! We’ll quickly disperse as we tour, eat, drink and be merry along the supplied route map!
