“. . . bang-up entrees that could hold their own at the best restaurants in town.”
“. . . intelligent and ever-evolving [wine] list.”
“. . . a sense of camaraderie and democracy that creeps up slowly as you come to know the place.”
This is a great little spot - I enjoy it more every time I visit! The owner is a perfectionist and offers a sophisticated and reasonably priced selection of wines and yes, beers too. The food is pretty top notch too! I highly recommend the stone hearth oven pizzas! But what I really love is the music selection and sound system...top notch sound and selections!
If the weather is nice, we'll meet on the patio - if not, we'll gather inside.
Warning: the place is not that easy to spot - it's in the northwest corner of a Kroger strip center with a very unobtrusive sign - if you go north on Ella from 610 North Loop, you'll make a left on 43rd - it's in the strip center there on the corner on your right after you turn onto 43rd.
