One of the largest wineries in the area is also on the edge of the distance we go to wineries.
About the same size and distance of the Pepin Winery we went to a few months ago is the Crow River Winery. It is also about an hour drive from the west metro.
Ellen & I toured Crow River Winery this past Sunday and were impressed with the facility. They spent some money on this place.
They have about twenty wines both fruit and grape. The winery is only a few years old. They have a few very good wines and a few that need some work. Wines run about $18 a bottle and tastings are $5 for 5 or $10 for ten wines, and with ten they throw in a nice big glass. But as usual we expect we will all buy a bottle to share with the group so we can taste everything. And yes of course we will all bring food to share.
The place is incredible and they have invited us out in April.
We will be going to Crow River Winery April 18th so you can drink away your tax woes.
Their website is www.crowriverwinery.com
We think you will enjoy this new winery!
