The purpose of Triangle Wine Enthusiasts is to meet, greet, and socialize with others who:
Have an affinity for wine and experiencing wine culture.
Want to become more knowledgeable about all aspects of wine.
Wish to share their wine experiences with other members.
Enjoy traveling to local wine festivals, wineries and vineyards.
Enjoy visiting local wine stores for tastings.
Enjoy gathering for private home wine tasting functions.
This group is open to anyone with a genuine interest in wine culture. The only requirements are, you must be of legal drinking age and are responsible with your wine consumption. There are no membership dues per se. However, we do ask for a donation of one dollar, per each person attending, at private home functions only. The funds collected offset the cost of the MeetUp website fee, name tags, and other tasting event consumables. Also, if anyone has an idea for an event or is willing to be an assistant organizer for a specific event, your participation is encouraged. Feel free to contact us if you have an event idea you would like us to post or if you would like to host a private wine tasting event at your home. The success of our group has always been attributed to the support of our members.
