Tribute to Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys

Brian Wilson (June 1942 – June 2025) was co-founder of California band The Beach Boys, and a prolific songwriter who composed over two dozen Top 40 hits for the group. His contemporaries considered him a musical genius and among the first music producer auteurs, for very complex arrangements and vocal harmonies that created the unique Beach Boys sound. He blended high production values, orchestration, complex harmonies, and vocal layering, as he effectively transformed the entire recording studio into a virtual, multifaceted “instrument.” Wilson’s contributions to the ‘60s California music scene, including Laurel Canyon, are immeasurable.

In a nostalgic tribute to Brian and The Beach Boys, the “Catch A Wave” group is performing a special show to recognize this iconic band. Based in Los Angeles, Catch A Wave delivers an incredible show by recreating the look, the sound, and of course those signature harmonies from the original group of the 1960s. Since 2010, Catch A Wave has been headlining four major cruise line showrooms, and is the featured Beach Boys performance at Disneyland.

You can expect to hear all your favorite classics, including “Surfin’ USA,” “Little Deuce Coup,” “Fun, Fun, FUN!” “I Get Around,” “Do You Wanna Dance?” “California Girls,” “Good Vibrations,” “Kokomo,” and many others from their extensive catalog of hits.
