It's September. The art world is putting its feet back on the floor. Williamsburg galleries are open late this Friday. We get to see, critique, and be amazed by all of the new exhibitions. We will meet at 7pm at The Hogar Collection Gallery. It is nearest to the Lorimer stop of the L and G trains. Or the Marcy Ave stop of the J, M, and Z trains. If you are late, you can call or text me at[masked], to find out how far we got.

Some of the shows we'll try to get to:

Sophie Morner "The Name of a Song" at Capricious Space.
George Underwood "Old Enough to Know Better, Young Enough to Pretend" at K&K
Dennis Maher "End Wall" at Black and White Gallery
Lauriston Avery "Invisible Moon" at Hogar Collection Gallery
Allyson Mellberg "An Unearthly Child" at Cinders Gallery
"Exploring 100 Years of Figurative Art" at Figureworks

It's also Fashions Night Out. There are happenings at many Williamsburg clothing shops. They will have DJ's, live music, cocktails, and special events. Many are open until midnight. We will check out some of these. Don't forget your checkbook! Here's a partial list:
