Jack will lead us in a two-part exploration of Reiki: Part I – REIKI ORIGINS & PRINCIPLES The origin of Reiki, as most of us have heard it, may be nothing more than a fabrication created by Reiki masters of the past. As we discuss Reiki’s colorful history, we will attempt to separate myth from fact, and learn why understanding Reiki’s history is important, and can affect the Reiki treatment we seek and receive. We will explore the principles of Reiki, and come to an understanding of what Reiki is and how it is practiced. Part II – REIKI SHARE/DEMONSTRATION Learn what to look for in a Reiki practitioner. Experience first-hand giving and receiving Reiki and, in the process, learn how a reiki treatment should make you feel and what a Reiki treatment can do.
