We will walk 4 miles/1.25 hours through this beautiful location with deer, beaver, turtles, ponds, ancient woods, and marshland.

All hikes start at 7:30am sharp, so please arrive on time to hike with the group. We usually walk even with light rain. Heavy rain or high winds will cancel. If unsure, check for an updated notice or use the message app. Please sign in if you plan to attend and cancel if you change your mind.

This is an exercise hike so we walk at a brisk pace. If you prefer to enjoy the sites (and it is a beautiful location) or walk at a slower pace, you are still welcome to join us. I will ask, though, that you pick up a trail map at the beginning as you may be walking on your own for part of the outing. Restrooms are available starting at 8:00 am. Dogs are not permitted at Reinstein Nature preserve.

On occasion these outings are unhosted. Please print out a copy of the trail map for those times as well. A "regular" walker might be there to guide the way but it's a good idea to have the map with you just in case.
