Enjoy the summer evening with a concert on the Great Lawn of Olbrich's outdoor gardens. A wide variety of music is highlighted, including jazz, folk, honky-tonk, and much more. Olbrich's Summer concerts are every Tuesday night in June and July at 7 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack a picnic, or purchase hotdogs and brats at the Gardens from the Madison East Kiwanis. Picnics are allowed in the Gardens for Tuesday concerts only. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held indoors, and the Kiwanis brat and hotdog stand will not be available.
Beat the heat with all-you-can-eat ice cream! Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool will be at the summer concerts with cool ice cream treats. For $5 per adult and $3 per child, enjoy a variety of ice cream flavors and support two non-profit causes; proceeds from the ice cream sales will benefit Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool.
A $1 admission donation is suggested. Concerts are sponsored by the Olbrich Botanical Society.
This event is appropriate for you to bring Men and Children too. Just indicate total guests in your RSVP. Let's all plan on how we want to handle food/beverages (bring your own or buy when you get there).
