Volunteer: Junior Achievement Training Session

COME LEARN HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE TO OWN THEIR ECONOMIC SUCCESS On Saturday, October 19th from 11am-1pm

- Location: We'll be in the back room at Alt n' Bach's.  The restaurant is behind American TV.

-No cost!

JA provides 100% of the materials for any mentoring you chose to do.  This training will prepare you to enter any Kindergarten-12th grade classroom. After this JA presentation you can decide if you'd like to volunteer for JA and you can select to go into one classroom (any grade) which are typically 5 -7 sessions per classroom. Sessions are 30-45 minutes each. Or, you can also pick multiple classrooms of your choice.

Junior Achievement gives young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.

Our corporate and community volunteers deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world - enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.

This school year, JA in Dane County will reach over 10,000 students in 525 classrooms. Nearly 400 volunteers will play a key role in bringing Junior Achievement to life. By sharing YOUR personal and professional experiences and skills with students volunteers inspire students to reach for the stars.
