What we're about

The EmpowHer Wellness Inner Circle is a group for women who want to make an impact. We are women helping women discover and own their strengths, overcome fear and self-doubt, find joy in the every day, and build powerful, healthy confidence through empowerment, self-coaching and peer support.

We support each other on our wellness journeys and understand that wellness isn't just about what we eat or the way we move our bodies. Whole Woman Wellbeing is about all of the factors that influence our health - our careers, finances, education, spirituality, relationships, our home environment, and our community.

If you're ready to put your wellbeing first, better manage work-life boundaries, take control of your health, and continue kicking ass in the boardroom (and the bedroom), then this group is for you!

Weekly educational events will focus on topics like gratitude, happiness, wellbeing, work-life balance, goal-setting, healthy habits, nutrition, financial wellbeing, mindset, and eliminating negative self-talk.

We'll also plan wellness events like walking / hiking groups, tai chi lessons, health food store tours, cooking demos, pantry makeovers, mindfulness meditation and creative arts.

Finding Your Purpose & Setting Career Goals

3827 Courtland Cir

We are all meant for more. Each of us was put on this Earth for a reason, but sometimes we don't know what that reason is. That can cause us to feel overwhelmed, directionless or just stuck. We'll learn an ancient philosophy known as Ikigai to determine our passions, gifts and talents, and we'll further our understanding of how passion leads to purpose, and how living our purpose can change the world. We'll discuss how we can apply Ikigai to our daily lives and work toward fulfilling our purpose - while doing what we love. If everyone lived their purpose every day, every need in the world would be met. We'll also spend time talking about career planning, career goals, and how to align our goals with our purpose. This workshop is all about helping you find a job you love - because you should be passionate about the place you spend the majority of your time! Engagement is encouraged, so bring your stories, tips, experiences and advice. We rise by lifting others. This workshop is a low-key way to make friends in a safe, inclusive environment. Confidentiality and positivity are a must! Healthy, light refreshments will be served.

2019: The Year in Review

3827 Courtland Cir

Before the hustle & bustle of the holiday season, it's important to take a step back, pause, and reflect on the year you had. Many of us are quick to start planning for the year ahead, but taking time to acknowledge, appreciate and celebrate 2019 will help us better manifest our 2020 vision. In this workshop, we'll talk about what went well this year, what lessons we learned, what achievements we're proud of, what mistakes we made, what held us back, and how we spent our time. We'll talk about the importance of gratitude and how it can help us prepare for the new year (while also helping us prepare for family drama during the holidays!). We'll close with setting a few goals for 2020, and we'll revisit those goals at a future workshop. Engagement is encouraged, so bring your stories, tips, experiences and advice. We rise by lifting others. This workshop is a low-key way to make friends in a safe, inclusive environment. Confidentiality and positivity are a must! Healthy, light refreshments will be served.

Dare to Lead - Book Discussion

Leadership is not about titles, status, and wielding power. A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for recognizing the potential in people and ideas and has the courage to develop that potential. When we dare to lead, we don't pretend to have the right answers; we stay curious and ask the right questions. We don't see power as finite and hoard it; we know that power becomes infinite when we share it with others. We don't avoid difficult conversations and situations; we lean into vulnerability when it's necessary to do good work. But daring leadership in a culture that's defined by scarcity, fear, and uncertainty requires skill-building around traits that are deeply and uniquely human. The irony is that we're choosing not to invest in developing the hearts and minds of leaders at the exact same time as we're scrambling to figure out what we have to offer that machines and AI can't do better and faster. What can we do better? Empathy, connection, and courage, to start. This event is free. Healthy, light refreshments will be served.

Learn how FOD - fear, overwhelm & doubt - can impact your confidence. We’ve all had moments in our lives when FOD stopped us from doing something. Whether that was setting up an online dating profile, buying a new car, launching a new business, or starting a new job. Think about a time in your life when fear stopped you in your tracks. What thoughts ran through your head? What emotions did you experience? In this workshop, we'll talk about how FOD shows up in our lives and practical tools you can use daily to overcome it. Engagement is encouraged, so bring your stories, tips, experiences and advice. We rise by lifting others. This workshop is a low-key way to make friends in a safe, inclusive environment. Confidentiality and positivity are a must! Healthy, light refreshments will be served.
