What we’re about
Women in Science Japan (WISJ) hosts skill-building events and casual networking events in Tokyo and online. We are a volunteer organization committed to addressing gender inequality in Japan.
Women, gender minority persons, and allies pursuing a career in STEM are welcome regardless of educational background or nationality. Our members encompass a wide range of STEM disciplines, from AI to biology, environmental sciences, physics, and more. WISJ also partners with a wide range of institutions and organizations to empower women and gender minorities to learn, network, and lead in their field.
