Women in Business Today!
Welcome! I am excited and honored to be working amongst all of you. Women of strength, who are making a difference in their families lives by growing your home party planning business . Each of us has decided we want more for our families and others around us. We are committed to helping others whether it be through the products that we offer or through the business opportunity.
I have been in business for 16 years. I started with Tupperware for discount only when my husband and I were active duty military. We found success in a very short period of time and decided to build BIG. Now here we are...in business for ourselves, working Tupperware with our 2 boys while enjoying the flexibility and the freedom that comes along with it.
A couple of years ago I thought to myself, how neat it would be to join a networking group that is geared only towards women in direct sales, party planning businesses. Two years ago, I decided it was time to get this going. Let's join forces, get to the top together while learning how to build it BIG. Not only will we have fun meeting new people and building new found friendships, but we can network and build our business together. It's about promoting opportunities for direct sales networking and fellowship.
About the Business Networking Group:
Our goal is to encourage direct sales professionals to move into positions of expanded leadership within their companies through training, motivation and inspiration. We want to provide printed materials and information that will be helpful for teaching the direct sales profession.
Creating a passion, enthusiasm, and respect for the direct sales profession.
Annual Dues: $35.00 at time of sign up. You must sign agreement upon joining. You are bound by the agreement you sign. This will give you the opportunity to become a vendor once a month for our Girls Night Out (Bunco) events. If "core" positions are available, you will be offered the opportunity to be "core".
Networking Opportunities: We have several network opportunities each month and you are invited to attend one, or all, whatever you can fit into your schedule. You will find them for each designated area of Riverside County (Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, etc).
Refund Policy: Dues are non-refundable. No exceptions. Dues are due when you decide to join our network group as a WIBT member. Dues go towards the meetup.com costs, marketing ads, materials, etc that I pay every month as well as additional marketing materials (i.e. postcards, flyers, etc).
No shows: We understand that things come up last minute, however, when you RSVP for a meeting or event please be sure to add it to your calendar immediately so you do not overbook yourself. We want to see you succeed. Though you will not be removed for no shows, excessive no shows are frowned upon and could jeopardize your spot for upcoming events for showcasing. Emergencies do arise and are understandable. Please contact us and let us know as a professional courtesy.
Cancellations: 24 hour policy; violators will be warned after two occurrences. Please be respectful and let us know if you are unable to attend.
RSVP: Required for EVERY meeting or upcoming event, whether you're in or out. This will indicate if you still want to be active in this network group. We are committed to helping you succeed!
Host policy: As a business member, you may be offered the chance to host various events at your home. Whether it's a bunco night where you can showcase your products and reward gifts from your product line or host a Wind Down Wednesday Shopping Event, etc. Please check your calendar before volunteering. As a hostess, depending on the type of event you might be providing the hostess gifts - table snacks and a drink, along with any additional tables and chairs needed for your nights event, etc.
You will need to provide a valid email, phone number, and photo of YOU for this group. Given the fact that we are meeting at members’ personal homes, restaurants, etc we want to know everyone who’s coming to dinner! Plus, it makes it easier to find you.
When attending our monthly vendor events please be sure to bring your business cards, catalogs, order forms, some product to sell/ display and anything else you might need for supplies. Should you wish to provide a coupon or sample of your product please feel free. We do ask that every month when attending a showcase type event that you bring product for sale and come prepared to build your business. This is a platform to build and enhance your business. Work it to the fullest and you will reap the benefits. We want to see you succeed.
Occasionally we will have various other events or activities such as: Swap It Party they trade in their old for something new or a Wind Down Wednesday where customers can shop till they drop and enjoy some chocolates and wine. This is a great night out for just a couple of hours where we can invite all of our customers to come check out what's new with our businesses. Bingo guest events and more. You are not required to participate. It is open to everyone though, as another way to help you promote your business.
It is our desire to build our network group out to service more women in a variety of other areas as well branch out to individual chapters such as Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, Fallbrook, Corona, Riverside, Twenty Nine Palms, etc.
