Gather for 2 hours to share in an emotionally safe environment about work life, and being a woman working in tech. Women in the tech workplace often find themselves shifting who they are and how they communicate in order to speak 'men's language' in the workplace (of course this does not always fall on gender lines). This group is intended to create a space for women to discuss their natural communication style and needs in the workplace openly, honestly and without fear of impacting their job as a result of their feelings and experiences. Participants can share strategies for communication, sharing of thoughts and feelings with supervisors and peers and ultimately getting their needs met in and outside of work. Group: Sunday evenings 6-8pm in the Marina Office. $70 per session. Call or email for details 415-601-9038 Valerie Tate is a Psychotherapist and has been in Private Practice over 15 years Specializing in Relationships, Trauma, Parenting, Sexuality, Anxiety, Divorce and Career Development.
