About the instructor:
Moss is an expert in a wide range of music. She has studied for years with Twin Cities jazz drummer Phillip Hey; she has also studied classical and jazz composition at St Olaf College from 2019 to 2023 where she played with the St Olaf Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has composed with the likes of Aryaman Joshi, a brilliant microtonal composer from India.
Moss’ true ambition is to help drummers find their own unique expression through percussion. Her expertise in the different genres of the music world comes from her countless jazz combos and big bands, rock, metal, punk, classical, neo-orchestral, and avant-garde ensembles.
