Cambridge Wordpress: SEO Search engine optimisation7:15 for 7.30

Search Engine Optimisation. Rob Chant of Cambridge Web Marketing is speaking.

Rob owns and runs the Cambridge Web Marketing Co. He's been working on the web since 2000, originally designing and building sites but concentrating on SEO and AdWords management since around 2008. He's particularly interested in the technical side of SEO, and has kept his hand in when it comes to Internet technologies through a variety of side projects and regularly finds himself tinkering with WordPress installs

Usual format:

Everyone introduces themselves: 20 second description of your involvement with wordpress

Up to 3 * 3 minute pitches: i.e. if you want to talk more about a service, request help, or whatever.  The idea is that any discussion happens in the bar afterwards.

Open discussion about presentation, usually led by the speaker.

Hi Rob, is there any chance of you putting your slides up for us? However, I understand if you want to keep your secrets just between you and the group :)

I found it interesting but, as a non-professional, I would have liked a simplified "talk through" the whole installation process for Yoast etc.

I'm sorry I didn't put that it -- it's very difficult to know where to pitch a talk when a very wide range of levels of experiences are represented in the audience. However, there is quite a good tutorial about installing Yoast here:

I'll be at WordCamp London all weekend but I'll aim to make this too! Is anyone else going to WordCamp?

    Hi Guys,

I am relatively new to the Web Site Publishing, Though I have an Hosting account with the GoDaddy and hosting several Word Press site under the same hosting schema by using the redirection from the domain names.

If I were to have another hosting with them that would cost additional £50..

I am looking for an alternative multiple domain web hosting providers.

    Could any of you recommend?
