WordPress Yuletide Hangout (In-Person)

You don't want to Mis(tletoe) this!
Come together to usher out 2025 and look ahead to 2026 as a community in WordPress. Whether you've attended a WordPress event, organized Meetups, or an OG or are new to WordPress you are welcome to join us for this special holiday hangout!

Holiday Cheer, Food, and Drink
Join us for some good conversation, fun & games, and some surprises whilst enjoying traditional dishes served by Welik Mexican Cuisine and light refreshments. More details to come soon! NOTE: There is a full bar but we will not provide alcoholic beverages.

Giving to others during the Holidays
If you can, please bring a canned good or other commonly needed item that we'll donate to the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry to help those need this holiday season.

Getting there/Parking Info
Welik Mexican Cuisine is located at the corner of Town Center Drive and McBean Parkway in The Madison at Town Center Apartments in the Santa Clarita Valley. There is ample free parking around the venue (see map) connected to the Hyatt and Henry Mayo Newhall Fitness Center.

Here's my recommended way(s) in:

1. Interstate-5 (I-5) Southbound, exit Magic Mountain Parkway (mapping software may suggest but note all three major roads curve into the city center and there are too many lights and stop and start traffic); turn right on McBean Parkway, then right again at. Welik is located on the corner on your right.
   Option 1: Travel 150-200 yards and turn left and into the parking structure on your right; or
   Option 2: Travel 250-300 yards, turn right, and enter the parking structure IMMEDIATELY on your right. Do not follow the road around to the left or you've traveled too far for parking.
2. I-5 Northbound, exit Valencia Avenue turning right; turn left on McBean Parkway proceeding to Town Center Drive and turn left. Welik is located on the corner on your right.
   Option 1: Travel 150-200 yards and turn left and into the parking structure on your right; or
   Option 2: Travel 250-300 yards, turn right, and enter the parking structure IMMEDIATELY on your right. Do not follow the road around to the left or you've traveled too far for parking.

You can map out your journey using Google Maps or Apple Maps. IMPORTANT: There is HOV lane construction in and around this event on I-5 so watch your speed.

How can Meetups better serve you?
My holiday wishlist is that this event will continue the process of growing our community through in-person Meetups, furthering online and hybrid gatherings, and discussing ways to better support all of our local WordPress leaders with an eye on WordCamp Santa Clarita.
