May 18: "Sunday Picnic Series 11" - In the Restaurant

We have only 6 Workshops left!!! Kat will miss you all.

Back by popular demand, we are revisiting some of our most popular lessons. If you have missed them the first time around, here's your chance - and maybe the last one - to catch them! Kat is leaving for China and may be away for up to a year. So ask all your Mandarin questions before she goes.

One of the first places you can use - and indeed practice - your Mandarin is in a Chinese restaurant. How do you order your favorite dishes, ask about the specials, and finally pay for your meal? We will go through all the "courses" while having our own delicious food. Please note that this is part of our Sunday Picnic Series and will meet at 4pm. We do it very much like a potluck so be sure to bring enough food and drink to share. Happy Sunday!

When: Sunday, May 18, 4:00 PM
Where: Public Space (Sculpture Garden) at 590 Madison Avenue
Between 56th and 57th Streets (IBM Building), Look for a table with a Meetup sign
Meeting fee: USD10.00 per person (for 2 hours of Mandarin lesson)

*Past "Sunday Picnic Series" events:
