Join us for the first Open Source Sprint 2018!
The WordPress group will be contributing back to multiple different teams as shown on https://make.wordpress.org/ but there will be a heavy Gutenberg (https://wordpress.org/gutenberg/) editor focus during this event.
If you have been wanting to give feedback on Gutenberg testing, work on improving the editor before it goes into core or discuss with peers on how to communicate Gutenberg to your clients, this event is ideal for yourself!
> What is an Open Source Sprint?
Open Source Sprints are a day where Open Source projects all come together and contribute back to the project of our choice. We will be there working on the WordPress project.
> Who is it for?
Regardless if it is your first time contributing to the WordPress project or you have done it before, there are always people around who are willing to help you contribute back to the WordPress project. Everyone is welcome regardless of knowledge base! By joining us you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge from your peers, whilst sharing your own knowledge, allowing everyone to help the thousands of people who will benefit from your contribution.
Don’t be shy!
> What about a non WordPress project?
Open Source sprints enable anyone working with Open Source software to collaborate with the community and help to improve it. If you contribute to aother OS projects and you want to join us, you are more than welcome! Just let us know and we will find some space for you.
