What is your favorite writing saying?

No answer yet

What is your favorite book on writing?

I was inspired by Natalie Goldberg's Writing Down the Bones.

What do you write?

I write for business and for myself. When I write for myself it's usually in the form of memoir-based stories or (attempted) novels. I also have piles of journals from years past, although not as many as David Sedaris, I'm sure.

What do you read?

I mostly read literary fiction (outside of news stories and movie reviews and other tidbits online). My favorite writer is Alice Munro. But generally I read novels and short stories, not too much poetry or drama or nonfiction.

Tell me something else about yourself, please?

I'm a Kundalini yoga teacher and practitioner. This yoga has helped me maintain my equilibrium and health through some major changes and losses. I finally have a class in Philly that I'm teaching and I'm loving every minute of it.

I'm a transplant from Massachusetts. I have been a journalist, editor, and other writer. I like the other writer part best.
