Front burner: Short comic set in Pleistocene Africa starring a fat, old, grandma hyena named Glorious Jaw. An Albuquerque slice-of-life love story where I accidentally alienated every potential demographic by making the central characters a cage fighter and a baseball player. Whoops. Long term: A short horror story in the Sahara, and a sprawling Southern Gothic set 300 years after the collapse of western civilization (format still undecided).
Speculative fiction; xenofiction; bizarro, weird, and historical fantasy; nitty-gritty, and comics. (Comics are writing too!)
I've optimistically purchased a domain name.
I'm a recent biology major transplant, but I love reading, trying to write, reading about writing, and talking about reading/writing. My efforts have been solitary so far, but I think being around awesome creative people can't be a bad thing.
